Call for Abstracts

Abstracts are being accepted for the National Oilseeds Conference-2026 from, academicians, researchers, students, experts in the oilseed sector, farmers, policymakers, and other stakeholders. Abstracts submitted will be reviewed and selected for oral/poster presentations based on the merit. Authors are requested to submit their abstracts on a relevant theme prior to the submission deadline.

Guidelines for preparation of abstracts
Authors are invited to submit abstracts not exceeding 500 words, structured as Title, Authors, Affiliation, and covering the Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion of the research study being presented. All abstracts should be prepared on an A4 size page using Times New Roman font (size 11) with single line spacing and a margin of 1.2 inches on all sides. The title should be concise and informative, and author affiliations must include institutional addresses and email of the corresponding author. Abstracts will be evaluated for originality, clarity, and relevance to the conference themes. Selected abstracts may be included in the Conference Souvenir or Abstract Book after peer review.

Who can participate?
The conference is open to academicians, researchers, entrepreneurs in the oilseeds and oil palm sectors, policy makers, students, and progressive farmers from across the country. It also welcomes participation from the agriinput industry, including seed companies, manufacturers of fertilizers, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, farm machinery, laboratory and dairy feed industries, insurance companies, consultants, start-ups, processing and export agencies and agriculture-related service providers. The event will provide these stakeholders an excellent platform to showcase their products, innovations, facilitate knowledge exchange, networking with potential collaborators and customers, and explore opportunities for business growth and innovation in the vegetable oil sector. Participation from representatives of FPOs, NGOs, rural societies engaged in vegetable oil sector is also encouraged.
